Buffy Revamped makes it to Winchester

Audiences of the popular 90s TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will be thrilled to learn that Buffy Revamped, which is currently touring the UK after it’s award-winning Edinburgh Fringe premiere, comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Tuesday 20 February.

 

This fast-paced, hilarious parody that chronicles the entire seven seasons, 144 episodes of the original show, is told through the eyes of the character that knows it inside out – Spike!

 

Over seventy minutes, the creator of Buffy Revamped, Brendan Murphy, embodies Spike as he takes audiences on a trip down memory lane in this satirical show, which is packed with 90s pop-culture references for both Buffy aficionados and their less well-versed friends.

 

Murphy – whose multi award-winning Buffy Revamped has enjoyed two sold-out national tours – also created the award-winning show, Friend (The One with Gunther), which won Best Play at the World Wide Comedy Awards.
