Also on the bill are Jimmy McGhie who was an Assistant Producer for the BBC’s Science and History department before he began performing stand-up around the world; while the evening’s MC is actor, presenter and comedian, James Redmond, who spent four years as ‘Finn’ in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks and six years as ‘Abs’ in Casualty (BBC) – but who also has 14 years’ experience working as a comedian and compere across the UK and Europe.
Winchester Comedy Festival presents regular events in venues across the city showcasing some of the biggest names in comedy. Over the years the line-ups have included the likes of Ed Byrne, Mark Watson, Isy Suttie (Peep Show), and Winchester’s own Paul McCaffrey.
