Sometimes you knock on the wrong door, but the right person answers…
Titchfield Festival Theatre’s New Play Season continues with two brand new comedy plays written by Southsea based playwright and film producer Roger Goldsmith: Freehold and Inside Out.
The two one Act productions contain plenty of comic moments – and a touch of pathos, too. Last year Titchfield performed the première of Exhumed – also written by the same author – and these two new plays contain their own twists and surprises…
Inside Out is a tale of when neighbours get together for a few drinks – which unfortunately then goes horribly wrong. Simon and Daphne have invited their friends Dave and Sue for dinner. Daphne’s invited the next door neighbour, Tom, who has recently moved in. Tom’s got a secret. Daphne’s got a secret. Is there a connection?
Freehold is a two hander comedy drama about chocolate, gin and Dutch bikes… haunted pasts and the chance to begin again. This very funny play similarly has a number of interesting twists, proving that things are not always what they seem.
Titchfield Festival Theatre is proud to showcase these two highly entertaining plays by Roger Goldsmith, whose work has been performed at international film festivals as well as in the UK. They are part of the theatre’s New Play Season of exciting new productions on stage throughout January, February and March 2020.
Freehold and Inside Out – Two New Plays opens on Monday 27th January until Saturday 1st February 2020 at 7.30pm in the Acorn Studio, Titchfield Festival Theatre, St Margarets Lane, Titchfield PO14 4BG.
